Carles Ros, a researcher at ICFO and member of the SOREC2 consortium, participated in the recent “Harnessing Renewables for a Sustainable Future: Exploring CCU, Power-to-X and Solar-to-X Innovations” event held at EnergyVille facilities in Genk, Belgium, on June 4th and 5th, 2024.
In February 2024, SOREC2 team members Francisco Bernal-Texca and Jordi Martorell published an article in the journal Solar RRL describing the fabrication of a new type of organic solar cell with a four-terminal tandem configuration. The article has now been featured in the cover of the journal’s 10th issue.
The SOREC2 consortium held its second general assembly (CGA) at the ICFO facilities on May 7th and 8th. 25 members of the consortium actively participated in this meeting,which focused on sharing the latest advancements across various work packages (WPs) achieved over the past 18 months and planning the future next steps.
Several SOREC2 team members actively participated in the recent H2Future conference, held in Ibiza from April 17th to 19th, 2024. Dimitrios Raptis (ICFO) and Axel Guinart (UAB) delivered oral presentations directly related to SOREC2’s ongoing research.
